INTERVIEWS

“The best part of this class is that we were able to have a positive impact on the students at Fremont Elementary. Whether is was through exchanging letters, teaching lessons, or leading the tour, everyone in the class was able to enrich the students’ lives with an exciting, learning experience.” -Sydne Brainard

“Working with the kids was a great experience, I can only hope they take the lesson to heart and perhaps go to college themselves one day.” -Joseph Silva

“My experience interacting with the children was pretty great. At first I was nervous that they[students] would get too out of control or be too energized but everything turned out fine and we had a good time. They[the students] were funny and excited which made us perform better in our presentation.” I really enjoyed it[the course]. I looked forward to receiving the letters from my two boys because it’s an assignment that doesn’t really feel like an assignment. You get to learn about their lives and what they like and what they’re curious about and it makes you feel awesome! It’s a nice form of relief from other hectic courses.” -Diana Moya
